A neW LooK, A FrESh BreATH

Haaa….mesti uols sumer tunggu2 kan entry ni..weols dah agak dah..hihhi

Seronok laa semalam, bak kata parrot, rain or shine, we still wait.. walaupun hujan turun mencurah, make up sumer cair-bair dilarut air, bumper basah sbb simen pun basah, not to mention rasa macam takde bumper dah…lama sangat duduk, smpi kebas..mmg berbaloi! Harus asset terbaik weols jadi terburuk okeh..

So basically, tahun ni menyaksikan 4 bands yg bertanding…CBN, Vivekenanda, VI, Quen Cheng sumer takde...maybe tak sempat prepare kot..mcm CBN tuh kena tukar baru dah, sbb band pompuan mcm mgs pahang, asma, n ave maria ipoh sumer dah meletop yee…takde dah band pompuan gedik2 ngan cheer leaders segala..tp although 4 je ada semalam mmg best giler..

ni sekolah pertama, SMK Jinjang Kepong..meletops ok instrument..bass drums 4 ye, alat terpenting, pastu range saxophone dia daripada alto sax sampai la euphonium sax dia ada...dorang main lagu yg weols dah lupa dah..tp ada lagu wajib setiap tahun, rasa sayang n tanah pusaka...duh..letih telinga..pastu drum major macam ammar amsyar bak kata parrot,ooppss takde insurans kan???ahaha pastu yg paling mantap dia punya color guard yg weols believed dorang bawak budak gymnast dia..bukan main lentik, harus makan hati weols..siap ngan ribbon n kipas2 gituh..marching, music all went wrong..basically it wasn’t a good start. Tp kan semangat tau..the pressure to perform under the raindrops was surmounted vigorously..band2 cina semangat kann..

ni pulak sekolah kedua…SMK Cochrane..haaa sebelah weols smlm ex drum major dia rasanya…ada ke duk jerit2..sakit telinga tau..”faridddd…fariiiiiiidddd…u can do it..takpe2 teruskan!!!” haaa..boleh imagine tak??cuba je try..dorang bawak lagu asma 1999, sejahtera Malaysia, rasa sayang, n estancia asma 2003, yg dorang buat formation amoeba tuh..yg bagusnya band ni..drum major dia hebat..dorang hanya ada 42 musicians tp music bagus, movement pon bagus..clean n sharp.weols kata kalau laa dorang ada alat more than 60, they had the chance to win..trumpet line je ada 11 orang okeh..overall they were good..

ni band ketiga…SMK St John…apatah dorang nya banner semalam..the eagle has arrived, something like that..masa dorang masuk tuh uols boleh imagine macam VI laa..bebudak dia..cheer sana sini...masa dorang masuk lama giler nak susun dorang pny colorguards, banyak nak mati..pastu baju dia CANTIK!!!! Dah takde dah cavaliers2 ni..topi pun macam VI..Cuma bulu warna hijau..baju dia kilat2 tau..mcm kita punya selempang yg biru emas tuh..effect yang sangat bagus..siap ada mcm mantel kat belakang kanan, korang kena tengok sendiri nanti..iols makan hati tau tengok bulu2 tuh..habis keluarga aku jadi korban, selamat tak buat kat stadium, tidak harus kena serang macam STF belakang stage gituh..kitorang sangat terhibur laa st john ni

ni band yg last skali..chung hwa Chinese school…band beras bernas..dorang dah tak pakai bass drums Yamaha..skang dorang pakai Pearl..lagu2 dorang best…ada amiga, ada macho, ada lagi satu lagu yg catholic main dulu..apa tah…tahun 2003 gak, yg 1st song..tp dorang selitkan dalam macho..starting dorang ala2 stf 2000, yg action tuh…dorang duduk dalam group pastu action laa gitu..band ni pun tak ramai sgt, tp music elok laa..trumpet dia blast skit so towards the end dah pancit..tp disebabkan dia main amiga n macho iols suka sangat..rindu lagu2 nostalgia gituh…

before result nak diumumkan, dorang kan nak bagi laluan kat jemaah hakim supaya mendapat ketenangan mutlak sbb nak kira markah kan..so seperti biasa..sekolah ttdi pny krs yg kawad lagu2 tuh...hindustan sumer ada..and kl drum corps whatever nama dorang...yg bekas2 percussion players pny group tuh.dorang pon perform..baru balik dari shanghai katanyaa..fest music shanghai..tp weols tak berapa terhibur sgt..

and the result goes as follows:- (drum rollllllllll)

1st - ST John
2nd – chung hwa
3rd – Cochrane
4th – jinjang

Memang dah dijangka st john menang…haaaa ni baru nak komen2 technical skit ni…mcm weols kata baju dia sgt menarik laa, menangkap mata gitu…hijau yg sgt vibrant n fresh n new..kitorang suka sgt..

Tema dorang tahun ni evolusi tanah airku..jadi range lagu dia ada lagu2 asli melayu yg diubah mengikut marching band ways..then ada juga part yg british menjajah something like that bila dia punya drum major tukar baju ala2 sultan n terus pakai tanjak putih, pastu kena tikam segala..kita boleh nampak flow performance dia.memula lagu happy, lagu pramlee..then lagu melayu..then dah rasa intense, lagu apa weols tak tau..then lagu slow yg pipe n solo mellophone, yg kitorang suka, sbb best..background low brass yang sgt bagus..range chord yg elok jugak..ada masa dengar relax, ada masa pulak mcm seram n sedih..so as to show the change of atmosphere n situation.. As compared ngan vi yg volcano n kita tak nampak tang mana volcano dia..

as for the beginning, dorang start ngan lagu bujang lapok..bukan mcm ala2 sigs tuh ye..yg super copy n paste tuh,..ni yg dah di-improvisasi-kan..mantap laa..yg kitorang suka the music was good, it wasn’t like the old st john..they have polished and they didn’t blast..trumpet elok juga, cuma certain parts yg tak berapa elok. When it comes to part where the trumpet has to do a bit of staccato or tonguing and soft, kantoi skit..perhaps the movement was quite hard that they had difficulty to control music projection n blowing technique with regards to softening the sound..tapi overall, memang bunyi dia dah improve..compared to last many years..we both said to ourselves, never we liked st john, but this time yes! For national n klwmbc, if they join..the focus is to polish their music..that is all..they have got the tune, but they ought to make it more melodious, smooth n clean..Oh yes dorang ada 5 bass drums ye..jadi indon dah..

In terms of movement, agak clean, but could be sharpened..seluar dorang putih n kasut putih..jadi nampak sangat kemas..formation weols tak nampak sgt sbb weols duduk kat bawah..so tak berapa sure laa..but it was good..boleh train jugak tang movement ni..difficulty of formation rasanya tak berapa..sbb tak nampak shape2 or formation tukar2 sesama sendiri yang sgt byk..so no hard work needed here..

Dan yg paling SPECTACULAR ialah dorang punya color guards…the whole performance was so full n packed with the color guards but they didn’t look messy…all were well prepared and arranged. Dorang guna byk color guards yang size besar, so nampak sangat meriah laa performance dia. Ada jugak time dorang main lagu tanggal 31 arwah sudirman tuh…dorang letak bendera Malaysia sebesar alam laa..n lagu tuh untuk kemuncak nya..aaaaahhhhh…indescribable laaa color guard dia..ada tang tuh plak mcm rainbow dorang buat..dari red to purple color guards..weolss sgt mesmerized..it was really worth it..gigih tau basah2 kan seluar, siap ngan payung segala..n dengar2 dia punya instructor orang indon gitu..ada purnama2 nama belakang dia..so serious, kan tahun ni kat johor kan nationals, so korang kena tengok..ni pon dah panjang entry ni..aduh…

Yg diumumkan semalam, nationals bukan july, tp October..so bulan mcm mana ni….Tunggguuuuu……

Chanteque kerh...?

memandangkan iols 2-3 hari ni duk meronggeng je kat office...iols nk share with uols one of most stunning houses i've ever seen so far...i love d design very much...ade la gak design2 lain yg iols adore...but mostly loft or apartment...jarang jumpe rumah banglo aka istana meletup camni...design die mmg agak pelik sedikit....but smpi bile nk tgk umah kotak2 cam tin biskut kan...harus di improvise ye...

location umah ni pun not bad...it is indeed a wonderful study of contrasts between inside and outside, private and public, traditional and ultra modern, man-made and natural...

berbekalkan entrance yg meletop to welcome the guests...sape yg xnk msk kan tgk interior nye...so iols ade buat virtual tour kt bwh ni in JPEG format...bleh?...xde mase la nk buat video2 ni...next time la ye...

iols kagum dgn interior die...walaupun nmpk cam kosong...but this is what we call interior architecture...that's y kt certain college ade interior design n others ade interior architecture...in my opinion, there are some differences between both of them...interior design more to stylize and accessorize an interior space...they dont really touch the structure of the building itself...interior architecture plak...dey ols mainly design structure...kire ala2 architect la...but dey ols buat interior...so d interior slalunye nmpk kosong with minimum furniture and accessories...this is to emphasize on the inner structure of that particular space which most of the time mmg dh cantik dh...so x yah nk letak pasu bunge besar2 bagai...let it be wide and spacious...coz less is more...it depends on designers...

ni view bile malam n siang...lighting is well-planned...shades produced by those light reveals d form of this house...so every detail will be seen clearly...dh design penat2...haruslah kene highlight segala...klu org x bleh nk appreciate...this is not a good design la kan...so far iols bleh appreciate...uols iols x tau...

nah amik...bird's eye view...harus owner rumah2 sebelah kemas baju...larik pindah ikut Kandryxx ke jakarta...makan hati lah uols depan rumah ade rumah lg meletop, besar, cantik, conquer the whole peak...huhu...this house is actually situated at Damansara...it belongs to the owner of YTL Group...yg byk buat umah2 baru n modern sekitar Kuala Lumpur...

selalu terfikir...salah ke klu jd gemuk? klu kurus sgt plak...org tanye sakit ke? both ade je yg x kena kan...

ads ni sgt best coz once uols duk kt seat bus stop tue...uols punye berat akan terpampang luas di bahu jalan ye...harus ramai yg x nk duduk kan...sanggup berdiri tunggu bus lame2...haha...

situasi klu kite gemuk:

1. "tula dh kate, jgn makan byk2, kan dh x muat baju tue"

2. "hujan pun reti berenti, ko ni mkn x leh berenti ke" (walaupun uols br je smpi sbnarnye n gi kt buffet table nk tambah kuah or sauce)

3. "bagi la die duk depan kt kete nnt, klu x blkng sempit"

4. "nk g clubbing kene ajak die nih, klu org ramai, die bleh tlg tolakkan, huhu..."

5. klu ade kete nk langgar korang, korang tolak die kt depan...defence katenye...

6. klu die org tahan teksi, driver x nk berenti takut tayar pancit tgh jalan...

7. slalu dpt name timangan macam Bob, Enot, Syanie, Buntal...n etc

8. klu ade party, kwn2 berat hati nk jemput takut die pulun sume mknn n x cukup utk org lain...

situasi klu kite kurus plak:

1. "asal ko kurus sgt ni...x mkan ke ape?sakit eyh?"

2. "ko igt ko kurus sgt cantik ke?"

3. "makan cam pelarian afrika, but bdan ko x naik2 pun...ade bela ke?"

4. org kurus ni x slalu sgt kene kutuk...so xtau nk tulis ape dh ni...bleh?

conclusion:

jd gemuk salah...jd kurus pun salah...so kite kene maintain duk tgh2...x gemuk sgt...x kurus sgt...kan kan...but i do believe that klu kite diet camne pun...x exercise camne nk kurus kan...n klu kite kurus plak...mkn byk mane pun x gemuk nk buat camne...so korang igt sume org gemuk n kurus ni nk ke jd camtu...?i dont think so...mesti die org nk bdn 'just nice'...'gebu2' ke...huhu...x kisah memane...bak kate Cik Hen...'klu dh chanteque, x kira la uols gemuk ke kurus ke, uols tetap chanteque n meletopz...n pakai ape pun uols tetap vogue'...

After all these years, whenever org lain tanye, i will always say that u're one of my bestfriends (i thought so)...but now...r we bestfriends nways...fortunately...the others who i claimed as bestfriends are still there...but where are u?

I know that we're goin on different directions...u have ur own life...n i have my own...i understand that...i dont really mind if u miss d day...but i'll be pissed off when u dont even know d date...it's on d 5th...not 9th...not 11th...but can't u at least put some effort to save our birth date in ur reminder so that u wont forget...coz evry year weols je kan nk kena wish...nasib baek x bg present...klu x menyesal...haha...

last 2 wiks...i received a msg from a fren saying that one of our friend's mom passed away...


few days later...i received another msg from the same guy informing that one of our friend's dad pulak passed away...i feel sorry for them...coz i know how it feels losing someone who u always depend on since u were born...





last 3 days...i received a msg from a school friend telling me that one of my best friend's mom is dying n admitted to a hospital for few days already...i called him str8 away...he sounded different...not as always coz he's cheerful and funny at times...i tried to console him (hopefully it worked)...i told him to let us know if anything happens...i know his mom quite well...we went to his house few times (by invitation or uninvited)...





d next day...iols anta msg kt dey ols tanye ape cite...he said getting worse...iols suro die doa je byk for it is known that a lot of doa can change a persons Qadar...





ptg hari yg same...iols received a msg from him...iols sgt terkejut n menggigil drive blk ke umah...mak die dh pergi meninggalkan die dan family...i wanted to call him but takut time x kene...so iols bgtau org lain dulu...then only i msg him...die reply...trus iols call...die dh x nangis mase tue coz die kate air mate dh kering...btw x elok nangis byk2...sedih roh mak die nnt...





d next day...mak die telah selamat dikebumikan kat tanah perkuburan kebun teh...iols rase ralat sgt x dpt nk blk...sorry sgt ye...nnt iols blk weols jumpe...

hidungnya mancung, bibir nya nipis, tinggi tak ingat dunia, 98% berdarah arab, dari johor, articulate dan reasonable, always on the move, chatterbox, popcorn, fun to be with, energetic, adventurous, impersonal, flamboyant yet modest, creative, interior-designer-to-be, deans list yg dah berapa kali dah aku tak tau, determined, intelligent, maths expert, careful, punctuality is his quality, artistic, outstanding, easy going, loves to eat, banana fritters, black, purple, desperate housewives, parrot the dot, teh ais, nasi goreng kuey teow goreng sumer taknak sayur, clarinet, single ladies, no stress, shadow of love, jump, upbeat, good dancer, understanding.......and many more.....he knows it....

semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki, peroleh kabahagian dunia akhirat..(standard nya ucapan kann) yg penting, maintain hawt n cool n happening n fun! that's my parrot...haruslaaa....nada u know who..

seriously, it was just not worth it..the sound is really deteriorating..trumpet tak sure bila nak cut notes, how long the notes are..mellophone pon gituh jugak..kira sound mlm tuh mcm duhhh....kematu bumper iols occay..

movement agak bagus la, formation sumer kan...pastu tema tahun ni VOLCANO..boom! tapi kira the whole of the performance, PGL sebenarnya...gusti putri whatever..ada arif, weols, naufal yg gigih turun dari segamat, drive manual siap sesat2 seluruh kl..meletops..pastu ada fahim, n farid n siska..yg berlakon sinetron bawang putih bawang merah..

pastu byk giler la kan pasal scottish ni..st john yg dijemput pon bawak pipe n drumline je..tattoo la katakan...tapi yg paling best drum battle laa antara DC7 dari Bandung, indon (attention to kandryxx, kaum ko) n VI...

pastu sebaik je habis gunung berapi tuh, apa lagi angkat bontot yg kematu tuh, terus ke keta pegi lepak makan...makan lagi best ok, gelak2 lagi..kesian kat parrot kan, esok kerja tetap gigih ni tgk vi, pastu agak frustrating..siapla call iols esok nak maki2 kan sbb tension mata takleh angkat kat office..motiff???i instructor VI kah???

to kandryxx, happy birthday, lama iols tunggu kat cafe semalam, uols tak datang2..larrrikkkkkk...sambil kejar lrt..
